Ever since I was diagnosed with the panic disorder I had started to look for ways for treating panic attacks. There are several different ways to deal with the problem.
Initially when I first started getting panic attacks, I did know any of the ways for treating them as I did not know what exactly is happening. Sometimes I used to feel that I am having cardiac problems because my heart began to pound so badly (later after vigorous research I got to know that the symptoms of heart attack and panic attacks are similar).
Then I thought may be I am going to go mad and sometimes I badly feared death. With a lot of research I found out that I am having these panic attacks. (Actually when I used to go to the doctor I could not properly explain things and my physical condition was perfect so that is why it took so long in my diagnosis.) I got to learn that there are several ways of treating panic attacks. There are medicines, therapies, exercises and the SELF HELP GUIDES. For me therapies exercises and self help guides are fine. But I did not want to use any of the prescription medicines.
I also found that using home based remedies is also A Safe Way of Treating the Panic Attacks. What inspired me the most about them is that they are perfectly safe and I do not have to spend too much money. So I started taking supplements of vitamin B. the vitamin B is known to combat the panic attacks so it worked for me too. Also the cold shower remedy helped me a lot. Other than that a simple remedy for treating panic attacks is to avoid tea, coffee and alcohol.
Actually the caffeine and the nicotine do not suit people having anxiety and panic problems. They just make the things worse. Also if you have to drink at the social occasions then try to drink lightly. Take light beer and alternate each glass of beer with a glass of cold water. Keep in mind that if you drink too much one night, the next day is going to be very hard for you. if you have to have more than 3 drinks at a social occasion then the key to avoid a panic attack next day is to keep your self extremely busy with something that you like to do.
The Panic Therapy is one of the best programs that I came across for treating panic attacks. It is natural, inexpensive and safe for all ages.
